Looking forward to September

The holidays are going to be great: time to relax, have some time away and recharge the batteries before we're ready to go again. To be honest though, there is going to be so much to look forward to in the new academic year as well. Here are some things to watch out for that are coming up with a buzzzz;

• For the first time NEW College is going to be running the 6 Book Challenge as of September. This award from the National Reading Agency challenges students to read 6 books in 6 months ... simples! Find out more at www.sixbookchallenge.org.uk
• Respect Week is always a good crack at NEW College, what will 2012 bring?
• Orange Prize for Fiction
• World Book Day
• World Book Night

....the list goes on!


So bring on summer, bring on the sunshine, and bring on September!
